Born in 2001 in Lafayette (IN) U.S.A. and growing up in Chicago, I always felt very moved and connected to the arts, music in particular. I remember dancing and singing to the 1990s-2000s R'n'B and HipHop hits on the radio playing in my room. I loved choreographing showcases and performing them, forcing my sister and cousins to participate and my parents, aunts, and uncles to watch. Music and performing has always been a part of me.
At the age of four years old I attended my first dance class in ballet in Chicago. Till the age of ten, I participated in various plays and performances both in dancing and acting. At the same time I was attending regular private art classes in painting and drawing, as well as piano and singing lessons and learning to understand music at a very young age.
After moving to Zug, Switzerland in 2010 my drive for dance, arts and music continued. As I started focusing more on my love for dance, I found MDS & Entertainment. In 2013 I attended my first dance lesson in "Dance Mix" (HipHop and Streetjazz) at what I now call my second home. Ever since then I have been attending classes regularly up to six times a week in styles such as Modern and Broadway Jazz Dance, Streetjazz and various HipHop Styles.
Today dance and art continues to accompany me in my journey through life. I have gained lots of experience through various performances inland and abroad, mostly specializing in commercial dance styles. Learning from and being mentored by Mave Velo and Caroline Lietchli has given me a foundation of knowledge in HipHop Styles, Latin Grooves, Jazz Dance and Streetjazz. Attending workshops and dance camps by world renowned HipHop dancers such as Mr. Wiggles, Poppin' Pete, SugaPop and Henry Link as helped me learn and understand the history of HipHop culture in further depth.
